Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Clean Best collects through this website, why we collect it, what we do with it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it.
Who we are
This website is operated by CLEAN BEST GROUP PTY LTD, trading as Clean Best, ABN 84 700 040 553, of 54 Columbia Rd, Seven Hills NSW 2147. You can reach us on 1300 494 983 or at hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au. This site covers the cleaning work we do in Wetherill Park NSW 2164.
What we collect
We collect only what we need in order to quote and to contact you. When you submit the quote form on this website that is your first name, last name, phone number, email address, the service you selected, the best time of day to call you, and — if you choose to provide them — the address of the site you want cleaned and a message describing it.
The form also contains a hidden field that a human visitor never sees and never fills in. It exists to catch automated spam submissions, and a submission that fills it in is discarded.
If you call us or email us, we hold whatever you tell us in the course of that conversation, for the same purposes.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, to arrange a site walkthrough, to prepare and send you a written quote, and to contact you about cleaning work you have asked us to do. That is the whole list.
What we do not do with it
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or supply it to a data broker, a marketing list, or any third party who wants to sell you something. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list because you asked for a cleaning quote.
Who can see it
The people at Clean Best who need it in order to quote your job and perform it. Beyond that, the only third parties involved are the service providers who make this website and our email work — the provider that hosts the site, and the form and email service that delivers your enquiry to our inbox. They process the information on our instructions, in order to deliver that enquiry, and for no other purpose.
We would also disclose information where we are required to by law. In practice that has not arisen, and if it did we would tell you unless we were prohibited from doing so.
How the form works, technically
When you press send, the details you entered are transmitted over an encrypted connection to a form-handling service, which emails them to our team with your email address set as the reply-to address. The information is used to answer you and to quote your job. It is not stored in a marketing database, and it is not used to build a profile of you.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising cookies and does not run behavioural advertising trackers. If we add website analytics in future in order to understand which pages are useful, we will use it to measure pages rather than to identify people, and we will update this policy before we do so rather than afterwards.
How long we keep it
We keep quote enquiries for as long as we may reasonably need them — typically while a quote is live and for a period afterwards in case you come back to it. Records relating to work we have actually performed are kept for as long as our tax, insurance and legal obligations require. We do not keep personal information indefinitely for no reason.
Keeping it safe
The information you send through this site travels over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiries is limited to the people at Clean Best who need it. No system is perfectly secure and it would be dishonest to claim otherwise, but we do not collect information we do not need, which is the most effective protection available to anybody.
Seeing it, correcting it, or having it deleted
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Call 1300 494 983 or email hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au and tell us what you want done. We will action it, and we will not make you justify the request or send you through a process designed to make you give up.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first — call 1300 494 983 or email hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au — and we will look into it and come back to you. If you are not satisfied with how we have dealt with it, you are entitled to take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will change this page. If the change is significant, we will change it before the new practice starts rather than after it.
